Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By signing up for or using Brio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
2. Description of service
Brio is an AI-powered video generation platform. You provide text prompts, and Brio generates videos using third-party AI models. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, styles, or timelines for every generation. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
3. User responsibilities
You are responsible for everything you create with Brio. You agree not to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Use Brio to create deepfakes, non-consensual imagery, or content that infringes on someone else's rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service beyond normal usage limits.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Brio without written permission.
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Payment terms
Brio offers both subscription plans and one-time purchases. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for used credits or subscription time already consumed. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we will review your case.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
5. Commercial usage rights
Videos generated on a paid plan (subscription or one-time purchase) are yours to use for any commercial or personal purpose, including ads, social media, listings, and client work. You own the output, subject to any third-party rights embedded in the underlying AI model licenses.
Videos generated on the free plan may include a Brio watermark and are intended for personal evaluation. Commercial use of free-plan videos requires upgrading to a paid plan.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Brio in the 12 months preceding the claim.
AI-generated content may be unpredictable. We do not guarantee that every video will meet your expectations, be free of artifacts, or be suitable for your specific use case. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before publishing.
7. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use Brio ceases immediately.
8. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
