1. What data we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to run Brio:

• Account data — email address and authentication details via our auth provider.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Video prompts — the text descriptions you enter to generate videos.
• Generated videos — the videos created by our AI on your behalf, stored so you can download them.
• Usage data — anonymized analytics to help us improve the product (e.g., feature usage, error rates).

2. How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the Brio service:

• To generate, store, and deliver your videos.
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• To send service-related emails (receipts, password resets, video ready notifications).
• To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your video prompts or generated videos to train AI models without your explicit consent.

3. Third-party services

We rely on trusted third parties to operate Brio. Each processes data according to their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and storage. Privacy Policy
• Stripe — processes all payments. Privacy Policy
• Fal.ai — powers AI video generation. Your prompts are sent to Fal.ai to generate videos. Privacy Policy

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Generated videos are stored for at least 30 days so you can download them. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data and generated videos within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records (e.g., payment receipts).

You can request deletion of specific videos or your entire account at any time by emailing us.

5. Cookies

Brio uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We also use a small number of analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the app so we can improve it. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.

6. Your rights

7. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
